I came across this as I was starting my family tree and finding relatives on Ancestry.com. My grandmother Stella was David’s mother, Mary’s sister. I remember my summers at my Aunt Mary’s in Forest Park.  I have amazing childhood memories of  holidays and remember how amazing David was. and I feel terrible that our family lost touch. I’m sending my love and thoughts to the family❤️

I was so sorry to learn of your great loss.  I knew David and his parents many years ago from their store in Forest Park.  My boys called his father "Uncle Jess" and he was such a good man.  David was there so often with his mom and dad and was a really good boy.  I know they were both proud of David as they watched him grow.  Such a shame that they were all taken from us so early. Kathy, Tiffany and Brittney my heart goes out to you in this time of grief and sorrow. Our family was blessed with David building our home, which was the first time we met him. Since then, I am reminded of David every time we drive up to it, and thank God for David building it the way he did. He was a good guy - likeable, honest and I will miss talking with him. I have heard many stories over the years of what a good man David Holder was.  You all have those wonderful memories of this man to hold in your hearts forever.  Memories to share with his grand children and not just memories but his behavior, his habits and dreams.
