David was someone who restored faith in humanity when it seemed there was none left. I remember him as a devoted servant of christ and true humanitarian who fed the hungry, restored hope for those who were in despair, gave shelter to cats during the winter, and loved his entire family. It was an honor to have known him.

This handsome man of God our Father is the son of my sister who I coined the Leah of the family. Four of her six were called into the Father's ministry to help build the body of Jesus Christ. Before our sister Leah passed, she left David (the Beloved) in my care in which he was already his own man. A gentleman who respected me as he would a mother. Father has shown me his peaceful visage. His last words to me was "Yes ma'am." He brought into the family a woman he, and we love and embrace during this time of bereavement. Love 

David my nephew 
 He was one of the Lord’s chosen to bring the gospel. David understood who he was in the Lord .  He was about the Lord’s business ; bringing  to a lost world the story of redemption, love, hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.  
David was strong in his faith, a compassionate man, loved children and his family and was respectful of others.
David did not need our human rewards such as pay, praise, or atta boys. We did consider 
David as a spiritual rock in the family.
We love David and he will be missed here on this earth; he is very much alive and enjoying
his time with Heavenly Father Lord and Savior!


My favorite memory of David is when he and his brothers were growing up, they all had bicycles.
When his brothers got a flat tire, they would come to Uncle Doug and asked to fix their flat.
When David had a flat on his bike, he came to Uncle Doug and asked to borrow his tools. He fixed his own flats and always brought the tools back.
I miss you David and love you.

My condolences to all the Family.


I remember David as an infant of 5-1/2 months old. He had a knee that would not let his leg straighten out.  His Mother, Marlene, took him to the doctor where his leg was X-Rayed. The doctor said, "This little boy has had a cracked knee bone which is knitting back together nicely." The Lord had already healed him. Do you suppose that was the first sign  that David was "called out"?  We all loved David dearly and respected him as a leader and a man of God.

My grandfather was and is one of the best men you would’ve ever met. He ALWAYS put the Lord first.  My greatest memories of him will always be they way he loved my daughter. (His granddaughter) When they were together, they were basically attached at the hip. The love he showed her was incredible. Everything she did amazed him. It was always a joy see the smile she would ALWAYS put on his face.  We’re going to miss you so much papa. Can’t wait to see you in heaven. We love you!

David Kilgo is the Godly  Brother you will ever have.  He really showed The Real Good Big Brother,.  2006 when Anson was out of town, David make sure I am safe going home from my first part time Job in Stockbridge because its 11pm.  My favorite part when he needed a Guinea Pig to taste his cooking, the latest Treats from David when he fried homemade Potato Chips.  David was a real Big Brother.   We will see you in Heaven......

My brother David was a spiritual anchor for our family. He was a man all looked up to. He had the wisdom of God; and a love for ALL that made him a blessing to be around and caused many to seek him out. He exuded the Love of God. He gave his life for what mattered the most to him: God first and his family. He loved all his family so much. We will truly miss him. But I am glad we will be reunited in heaven!

I love you so very much papa. I will miss you’re wisdom and guidance. I wish we had more time with you but I know you are dancing with Jesus. I loved the way you preached  and shared the love of Jesus where ever you went. You always knew how to make me feel better when I always worried about everything. You use to tell me to pray and Jesus would make everything better. And He always did! I can’t say it enough I will always love you and I can’t wait until I can give you a big hug again. 💜

My dad was literally the greatest dad ever! He lived a full and happy life and always put everyone before his self.  He had the biggest heart that any one person could ever carry!  Such a wise and Loving man and will be deeply, and greatly missed by soo very many people.
 I know you no longer suffer and are at complete Peace now.
This brings me comfort.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of David.  I remember his faithfulness to minister at the Henry County Jail.  Thank you David for your service to the Lord in that capacity.  I am sure that many lives were touched by your ministry.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Kilgo of 40 years. Also by 2 daughters Toni Kilgo and Pam Cromer; sons-in-laws Brian Cromer and Jacques Jones; 3 granddaughters Jesse Crouch (husband Wesley), Kerrie Jarquin (fiance’ Ryan New), and Alexia Dean; 1 grandson Caleb Cromer; great granddaughters Peyton New and Olivia Isabella New; 3 brothers Rodney Kilgo, Dana Kilgo, Anson Kilgo; one sister-in-law Justina Kilgo; one sister Venetia Frost; brother-in-law Mike Frost; niece Tara Kilgo; nephews Joshua Skirvin, Justin Kilgo and Greg Kilgo; and many aunts, uncles, cousins.
