Dennis attended Cleveland High School and went on to serve his country with honor, completing two years of active duty in the United States Army, followed by 20 years of dedicated service in the National Guard. He was later employed at the Atlanta Army Depot and Dobbins Airforce Base, where he was a skilled and highly commended aircraft mechanic.
A man of deep faith, Dennis faithfully served the Lord for many years at Pine Grove Baptist Church, where he held the roles of Sunday School Superintendent and Treasurer. In his later years, he was a member of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle, remaining devoted to his church and community.
Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruby L. Bryan; his brothers, Donald Bryan, Dempsey Bryan, Demris Bryan, and Douglas Bryan; and his sister, Dorothy Jean Bradley.
He is survived by his brother, Denton Bryan; his sisters, Delores Holcomb and Deborah Kiser; his children, Brenda Smith and Bill Bryan (Janet); his grandchildren, Shayne Sims, Tammy Durrence (John), Steven Anderson, Tyler Bryan, and Ashley Bryan; his great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Durrence, Shelby Anderson, Skyler Archibald, Zander Durrence, and Cameron Anderson; and his great-great-grandchildren, Cash Leverett and Evelyn Powell. Dennis will also be remembered fondly by many extended family members, friends, and church family who loved him dearly.
Dennis W. Bryan will be remembered for his unwavering faith, dedicated service to his community, country, strong work ethic, and deep love for his family.
