Dessie Denice Harmon

A Cherished Sister, Devoted Mother, Loving Wife, and Loyal Friend

July 2, 1968 – April 30, 2025

With deep sorrow and love, we announce the passing of Dessie Denise Tucker-Harmon on April 30, 2025. A beacon of compassion, strength, and unwavering love, Dessie touched the lives of all who knew her—as a sister, mother, aunt, wife, and friend. Her kindness extended beyond people to the animals she adored and cared for with boundless affection.

Dessie was the heart of her family, nurturing not only her children and grandchildren but all who needed comfort or guidance. Her spirit was gentle yet fierce when it came to protecting those she loved. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Willie Robert (Bob) Harmon; her devoted daughter, Ashley Bowen; her son-in-law, Keith Bowen; and her treasured grandchildren, Jace and Emily Bowen, who were the light of her life. Her parent in laws Danny and Sue Harmon.

She is also survived by her siblings, John Tucker, Deborah Tucker, and Deanna Tucker, who will carry her memory forward with enduring love. Dessie now rests in eternal peace, reunited with those she missed so dearly—her parents, Ed and Diane Tucker; her beloved children, Joshua and Adriana Harmon; and her dear sister, Donna Tucker; Brother in law Randall Harmon

Dessie’s legacy is one of love, selflessness, and deep family devotion. Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the lives she touched, and the quiet moments when her spirit is felt close by.

May she rest surrounded by the peace and love she gave so freely in life.

A visitation of family and friends for Dessie will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. An interment will occur Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
