Donald J. Brautigan, age 82, of Stockbridge, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013. Visitation will be February 2 from 12-2 PM with memorial service to follow at 2 PM at Fairview Chapel of Horis A Ward Funeral Home in Stockbridge Rev. Lavell Sanders and Rev. Candy Thacker officiating.
Born in Covington, KY, Mr. Brautigan was a member of Bethel Methodist Church. He was retired from Delta Airlines, Civil Service and the Army Reserves. SGM Brautigan was a decorated military veteran with 25 years of service. He was a member of Rex Masonic Lodge 251 and the Yaarab Temple Motor Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, son and daughter-in-law, Don Brautigan Jr. (Debbie), daughter and son-in-law Lisa Bowlden(Sonny), and son and daughter-in-law Trey Lee (Rhonda), brothers Harold (Donna) and Wayne (Vicki), sisters Myrna and Wanda (Ron), six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
