

Donald Matthews Sullins, Sr., formally of Decatur, Georgia and Clarkesville, Georgia went to be with his Lord on May 25, 2022. He was born on November 10, 1926, in Experiment, Georgia. He was the son of the late Emma Walker and Dee Granville Sullins. He was a long time member of Chapel Woods Presbyterian Church in Decatur and a current member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Mr. Sullins was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Betty Mathis Sullins, his son, Paul Mathis Sullins, his brothers, Hubert Walker Sullins and Dee Granville Sullins Jr. He is survived by his children Smokey (Michelle) Sullins, Jr., Robyn(Hal) Bish, Laura(Kevin) Fosgate, Rebecca(David) Temples, Havalyn(Mike) Massey; his grandchildren Matthew (Allie) Sullins, Shelby Puckett, Christopher (Xiomara) Bish, Caitlin (Joseph) Hatcher, Amelia Koenig, Claire Koenig, Sarah Katherine Massey; and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by Pat and Amelia Mathis, Jack Mathis and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank those at Hospice of Chattanooga and Morning Pointe of East Hamilton for their loving care.
Family will gather at 10:00AM on May 28,2022 at Horis A Ward-Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281 with a graveside service at 11:00AM at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
