Although we were not at the  Church long we do remember Don's dedication to serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and Don's sense of humor ,Many blessings to you Shirley and your family.

It was a great pleasure and honor to have met Mr. Wells. He was indeed a wonderful person with a beautiful soul. He will be greatly missed by many people including me, will miss seeing him at NHA every morning. His smile was so sweet he made my day brighter. Today, Heaven shines brighter because of him.. Tied off to the chimney at Ann Mulkey’s house, blowing leaves and pine straw out of the gutters. Always tried to be careful while on someone’s roof.  Well, most of the time.

Mr. Don was one of a kind. He was always happy and cared for people. He wanted everyone to be happy too. He was a faithful servant with his heart and actions. You could tell immediately he was a genuine godly man just listening to him talk. He always made feel like family and referred to me as sis. I'll you again one day, friend.

Don and I were in High School together and I’ll always remember his easygoing approach to life!  He was always smiling and such a good guy!
RIP my friend!  🙏

My heart is sad to hear the news that Don Wells has passed. My heart goes out to Ms. Shirley and their family. Don loved his wife and family and his church family. He always had a heart of service. He did it with 100%. He and Shirley were just one of those couple’s who you could model marriage by. I always loved his smile he had, it truly lit up any room he was in. He’ll always be remember by me. 
These two scriptures make me think of Don. He loved God and he did his best to please Him and lead others to come to know Him and serve Him. 
Psalm 73:25 - "Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you"
• Psalm 84:2 - "My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God."

My sons and I have many happy memories at NHBC that include Don. Even a passing 'Hello, how are you?' brightened our days. 
He ran the race and won the prize. 
We will miss him.

I would like to send my condolences to the Wells family and especially Ms. Shirley.  It was always a pleasure seeing Mr. Don and Ms. Shirley at any event that we attended. Mr. Don you were a very special person and will truly be missed by many. I will not say goodbye to you. I will see next time!!!

Don loved Jesus and it showed by his service.  Was always kind to me and encouraged me in my walk.  He loved his family and it showed.  He will be missed but he was received in heaven to meet the Jesus he served.  Prayers for Shirley and the family.

Me and Don were school mates and really good friends.He was a lot like me when we were kids Mischief just followed us...but we both grew up became Christians and always volunteered our service to others that needed help. I know Shirley is going to have a hard time but just knowing that Don is waiting for her will pull her through.So sad to hear of this too early withdrawal from us but God's gift of life is a such a blessing just never enough time. I'm going to miss you buddy..I sure enjoyed our few times together. May God bless you guys and just remember what fun he was.
