Dora “Dode” Gardner, age 89, formerly of Harmony, IN passed away on July 14, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas & Rebecca Garder; and brothers, Thomas R. Gardner and John Robert Gardner. Those left to cherish Dode’s memory include his wife, Mary Gardner; children, Ginny Rose Norwood, Michael L. Gardner (Rita), Patty L. Steadham (Mike) and Sally Knauss; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Rosemary Bowers and Bess Gindlesperger. A funeral service will be held on July 17, 2012 at the Horis A. Ward Funeral Home in Stockbridge, GA; interment in Indiana will be announced at a later time.
