Eddie was born on February 27, 1962 in Meridian, Mississippi to Jackie and Willett (Garner) Brand.
He attended Forest Park High School, where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Tammy Brooks Brand on August 21, 1979. They raised two daughters, Amanda and Regina.
Eddie was a kind soul and was a hard worker. A jack of all traits, his friends and neighbors knew he could fix and work and help with anything. His hobbies included fishing, riding his dirt bike and helping his family and neighbors when needed.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Jackie A. Brand, Sr. He is survived by his wife, tammy Brand; daughters, Amanda (Jamie) Spencer and Regina (Joseph Chandler) Brand; granddaughter, Gwendolyn (Chase) Barnhart; unborn granddaughter, Savannah Chandler; great-grandson, Jaxon Barnhart; mother, Willett Brand; brother, Jackie A. Brand, Jr.; sister, Deborah Burge; and many brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Eddie Lee Brand will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281, where a Celebration of Eddie's life will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 2:00PM.
Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
