Edna was born on February 13, 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia to Forrest Roden, Sr. and Edna Tanner Roden. She was a dedicated and loving caregiver for many years.
Her memory will forever be loved and cherished by her children, Harold Payne, Jr. (Rebecca), Sherry Carter, Billy Payne (Jessie) and Tommy Payne (Valerie); 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; siblings, Sharon Ann Atkins, Forrest Roden, Jr. and Chuck Roden; a host of other relatives and family friends.
A Celebration of Life for Edna Jeanette Payne will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 12:00Noon at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia with Visitation from 11:00AM until the hour of service. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
