Emory V. Moore, age 84, of McDonough, passed away Monday, October 12, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel at 10am, with Rick Statham officiating. Interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Gardens in Lithonia.
Mr. Moore was the owner of the Sunset Motel in Forest park for 30 years and he was a member of the Panthersville Masonic Lodge. He loved to fish and enjoyed working.
He is survived by: son, Alan & Jan Moore, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, brother, Earl & Ginger Moore and sister, Shirley & Bob Sands.
He was preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Moore and daughter, Marcy McCullough.
