She was a resident in McDonough GA., Henry County. She was born August 26, 1940, to Antonio Cruz and Florencia Gonzalez in Lares, Puerto Rico. A daughter of a farmer and seamstress.
A devout catholic and loved her family more than words can express. Her generosity knew no bounds. Esperanza was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, aunt, sister and a beautiful soul. Her radiant smile lit up any room she entered when she saw her family and spoke of the lord. She enjoyed shopping, listening to music, singing, but what she loved the most was spending time with the family and friends.
Although Esperanza is gone, she will live in our lives forever. She was survived by her husband Eduardo Villanueva, her children Mirta Villanueva Maldonado her husband Rudolph F. Maldonado, Elsa Villanueva, Edward Villanueva and his wife Jacqueline Villanueva, Nancy Villanueva; grandchildren Kristie M. Gonzalez and her husband Angel Gonzalez, Ronald William McDonagh; Great- grandchild Vanessa Stenson; and her Sister Iraida Cruz Velez.
