Fred Morris Oxford age 98 of Atlanta passed away Thursday March 24,2011. Funeral sevices will be conducted on Monday March 28th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Horis A. Ward-Fairview Chapel with Rev. John L. Banks and Rev. Byron J. Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Concord, Ga. Mr. Oxford was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and a veteran of WW II . He was a deacon, Sunday School Teacher and served on various church committees at the Park Avenue Baptist Church. He was also a volunteer with the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Mr. Oxford is survived by Nieces and Nephew. He is preceded in death by his Wife; Mary Lily Oxford.3 brothers; Henry, Paul and Eugene Oxford. Sister; Kate Roan. Horis A.
