He was born to Fred A. Prince Sr. and Ida Mae Prince on May 27, 1931 in Mobile, Alabama. Fred is survived by his wife, Kurtine, his daughter Angela, his grandchildren Amy, Brian, and Jeremy, and many beloved great grandchildren. Fred was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean war and retiring after 20 years of service in November of 1968. He was a faithful member of Stockbridge First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Funeral Services will be held at Stockbridge First United Methodist Church on Monday, December 21st at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will not be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Children’s ministry.
