Gail Lynn Champion

Gail was born in 1958 to the late Robert and Sarah Brinkley in Atlanta, GA. She was united in holy matrimony for 37 years to Steven Champion and together they raised two beautiful children. Gail was a faithful team member at Premier Transportation where she enjoyed her duties and work family for more than 12 years. Gail also enjoyed traveling to many places, but especially to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge during the Christmas holiday season. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. While Gail was a very sweet mother and grandmother, she will make the sweetest angel in Heaven.

In addition to her parents, Mr. Robert Lee and Mrs. Sarah Ellen Brinkley, Gail was preceded in death by three siblings, Sherry Stansbury, Wayne Brinkley, and Frank Brinkley. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Mr. Steven Champion; two children Charles Robert Ellis (Serina) and Melissa Lynn Champion; grandchildren, Joey, Austin, Kourtney, Christian, and Sarah Ellis; and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

A visitation for Gail will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 10:00AM to 12:00 noon at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, GA 30281. Immediately following will be a graveside service at 12:00 noon at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, GA 30281.
