Geraldine is survived by; son Russ Yekel and his special friend, Sheila; three grandchildren, Rickey, Roy, and Hannah Yekel; two sisters, Beverly (Fred) Hixson and Dolores (Hugh) Childress; one brother, Robert Rupertus; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Yekel.
A visitation for Geraldine will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel. A funeral service will occur Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 3:00 PM. An interment will occur Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
