Gertrude Musslewhite, age 82, of Stockbridge, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel at 1pm, with Minister David Decker officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
A native of Turner County, Ashburn, Georgia. Mrs. Musslewhite worked for the Henry County School System managing school cafeterias and was a member of Fairview Church of Christ. Her hobbies were sewing, crocheting and cooking. She is survived by: children, Darrell and Barbara Cooper of Stockbridge, GA; Ray and Laurie Musslewhite of Bishop, GA; Paul and Sue Ellwood of Tucson, AZ; sister, Sara Eugenia Gay of Ocilla, GA; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Musslewhite; 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
