

H.A. was born Feb. 7, 1967 in Atlanta, Ga. and live all of his life in the Atlanta community. He attended Mount Carmel Christian School and later Tucker High School but ultimately graduated from Mount Carmel Christian High School. From there he graduated from Atlanta Area Technical School as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic. He worked 18 years as a mechanic for Delta Airlines. After leaving Delta he spent the remainder of his career as an industrial technician working in automated product distribution facilities. His last employer was a company that did maintenance for all Amazon distribution centers.
H.A. was a member of Mount Carmel Christian Church where he was baptized into Jesus Christ at a young age. H.A. lived most of his adult life in Jackson, Ga. From childhood his favorite place was Jackson Lake. From summers at the Ward family lake house to owning his own home on the lake. A good day for H.A. was cruising the lake in his vintage Ski Nautique with one of many pet dogs in the seat.
H.A. is survived by one daughter, Haley and Andy Eshbaugh (USN) of Rota, Spain;
parents, Alec and Patti Ward of Greensboro, Georgia; brother, Neal and Trina Ward of Covington, Georgia; sister, Laree and Bobby Black of Greensboro, Georgia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be a visitation Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M. at Horis A.
Ward Fairview Chapel. Following the visitation, there will be a private funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 P.M. and will be Live Streamed for the public.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the service will be limited to immediate family.
Following the service, interment will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Kerala Christian Mission, 1920 Ga. Highway 81, Loganville, Georgia 30052 in memory of H.A.
