Iva Louise Wilkinson

Louise was born on August 18, 1930 in Happy Valley, Tennessee to Rosa Lee and Mark Boring.

She graduated from Lanier High School, attended East Tennessee State College, and taught school for a time.

After moving to Georgia, Louise met and married Fred Wilkinson and together they had four daughters. Fred died in 1997 after 46 years of marriage.

Although Louise's career path took her in several directions...office work and sales, her final job was working for Ingles Grocery Chain. However, her first love was the volunteer work she did for her church, no matter where she lived. For several years, she had been the outreach secretary for Lilla Baptist Church in Barnesville, Georgia, where she was a member for many years.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Fred; mother, Rosalee Boring; father and stepmother, Mark and Dora Boring; sister, Donna Sherry Boring; two brothers, Norman George and Dennis Gerald Boring; great-grandson, Connor Lenning and son-in-law, Ken Cummings.

She is survived by four daughters, Beverly Katherine Sexton (Greg) of Highland Home, Alabama, Doreen Elliott (Tim) of Stockbridge, Georgia, Barbara Wilkinson of Barnesville, Georgia and Debbie Cummings Tucker of Stockbridge, Georgia; grandchildren, Justin Spell, Patricia Gifford, Amy Spell, Morgan Lee, Jarad Lenning, Chelsey Jones and Cody Tucker; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Kesley of Cleveland, Tennessee, Elizabeth Wagoner of Cartersville, Georgia, Pamela Kliner (Wesley) of McDonald, Tennessee, Sheila Boring, Ruth Boring of McDonald, Tennessee and Margaret Boring of Chattanooga, Tennessee, brothers, Thomas Boring (Rita) of McDonald, Tennessee, Calvin Boring of McDonald, Tennessee, Eddie Boring of Cleveland, Tennessee, David Boring of McDonald, Tennessee and Wendell Boring (Karen) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; a host of nephews and nieces, as well as, great nephews and great nieces and great-great nephews and great-great nieces.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 10:00AM-12:00Noon at Prospect United Methodist Church, 6752 Highway 212, Covington, Georgia 30016, followed by Funeral Services at 12:00Noon with Reverend Rex Kessler, officiating.
