Janet's dad, Pastor Hogan (and Dot) , came to New Hope Baptist in Lakewood as our new pastor and we became fast friends. We were always at the church when the doors opened and our families went on "adventures" together. There was always a lot of laughter from adults and kids alike.

Janet and I both graduated from Sylvan High School and she was in my wedding. I lost touch with her until about a year and a half ago and we reconnected on FB. What a blessing she was. I could always count on her putting something funny on FB just when it was needed the most. I looked forward to her posts.

Her faith during her cancer journey was a blessing and inspiration. Always said she was doing fine and her faith was strong.

Love and prayers to all her family. We'll always remember Janet's humor, smile, big brown eyes and her loving parents and siblings.
