Nola Jean Pridgen Gower was born in Bonifay, Florida on June 8, 1939. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia after high school to pursue a degree in nursing at the Georgia Baptist School of Nursing. She met and married Charles Alan Gower when she was twenty-five years old. She continued working as a nurse and taught nursing at the Georgia Baptist School of Nursing. She has two sons: Charles David Gower (Chad) and Christopher Alan Gower (Chris). She is survived by her husband, two sons, daughter in law, and four grandchildren. Jean Gower was a kind, gracious, and thoughtful person. She was a leader in her community and an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be sorely missed. We will always love and remember her and strive to honor her in every moment.
Visitation is Wednesday, January 25 from 6-8 pm
