Jean M. Toney

Jean was born on April 9, 1931 in McDonough, Georgia to J. C. and Josie Miller. She met and married the love of her life, Charles F. Toney on May 4, 1949 and together they raised their children and made a happy family and home. She and Charles spent their life supporting and loving each other until his passing in 2007. She never stopped loving him and longed for the day that they would be back together again.

She was a member of Union United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton and Josie Miller; husband, Charles F. Toney; sisters, Trudy Jordan and Betty Clark; brother, Bill Miller and son-in-law, Billy Carnes.

Her life will forever be loved and cherished by her son, Jim Toney (Sabrina); daughter, Marijo Carnes; grandchildren, Tracy Becker (Adam), Chase Toney (Sarah) and Sierra Jenks (Adam); three great-grandsons, Logan Becker, Charlie Toney and Carter Toney; brother, Ray Miller (Martha); a host of nieces, nephews and family friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Toney will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 12:00Noon-2:00PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia.

The Celebration of Life for Jean M. Toney will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia. Interment will immediately follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
