

Jeannette M. White, age 65, of McDonough Ga., passed away on June 7, 2015. She was born on April 23, 1950 to the late James M. and Corliss M. Hollingshead. She was also preceded in death by her Grandmother Mattie Mae Shirley and daughter, Carol E. Tipton. She grew up in several cities including Forest Park and cities in the North Georgia Mountains including, Ball Ground, Ludville, Talking Rock and Nelson. Jeannette had a love for the elderly and animals and worked as an animal rescue advocate for years. She loved the outdoors including fishing and also loved to watch her birds and squirrels that lived around her residence. In 1982, she met and then married the love of her life, Hal and they were together and married for 33 years until her death. She also had a strong love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and always kept him as the corner stone of her life. She is a member of Gospel Harvest Outreach Church.
Jeannette White is also survived by her other children, Cindy M. Burch of Griffin Ga. and Lester L. Spriggs Jr. of Stockbridge Ga. She leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sibling Ann (John) Byars along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who she loved and cared for so much.
Visitation will be held on June 10, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Horis Ward Funeral Home, Fairview Chapel, Fairview Road in Stockbridge. Funeral Services will be on June 11, 2015 at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Pastor Doug Drucker will be officiating.
