

Jennifer Kay Hardman Lewis was the sixth of seven children born to Royal I. Hardman, Sr. and Carolyn Louise McClendon Hardman on February 15, 1946. She left this world on March 16, 2022, to live in her heavenly home. She was a kind, generous and loving mother, mother-in-law, wife, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Jennifer graduated from Roosevelt High School in Atlanta, GA. She was employed by Southern Bell until her retirement. She enjoyed creating Arts and Crafts and was exceptionally talented in creating beautiful crochet pieces. She enjoyed traveling to the mountains and other locations such as Hawaii. Visiting with friends and relatives was always a joy to her. She loved all animals small and large, especially her pets.
She was predeceased by her son, Raymond Lamar Lewis, brother, Royal I. Hardman Jr., sister, Jacqueline Hardman Carter, brother-in-laws, Francis D. Lieb and W.F.Judson Carter, nephew, Ronald Todd Chamlee and nieces, Melinda Patton and Brittany Ann Schwartz.
She is survived by Derek Manders, sons Wade Lewis and Joseph Lewis (Kristie), her grandchildren; Jake Lewis, Kaitlin Lewis, Evan Lewis, Alex Smith and Austin Smith. In addition, she is survived by the following sisters and brothers, Nancy H. Lieb, Samuel H. Hardman (Judy), Judy H. Reynolds (Wayne), Donald L. Hardman, Sr. and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
She was greatly loved and will be missed by all. Burial arrangements are under the direction of Horis A. Ward Funeral Home – Fairview Chapel.
A visitation of family and friends will be held for Jennifer on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of her life will immediately follow in Ward's Chapel. Services will conclude with a graveside committal at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
