He was born June 29, 1941 to the parents of Thomas Thurston and Zora Ellen Knight. He attended Fulton County High School and was a trumpet player in the high school marching band. He was a Direct Mail Advertising Computer Programmer with Grizzard Advertising for 32 years and was self employed with Knight Printing Company for 10 years.
He is also survived by Sons, Kavin Knight and Wife, Kelly, Tyson Knight and Wife, Michele, his Grandchildren; Kaleb Knight, Alyssa Knight, Mekayla Neal, Great-Grandson, Hunter Morse, Aunt, Ruth Kelly, and a host of loving Nieces, Nephews, Family and many Friends.
Family and Friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 5-8 p.m., and Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 1-2 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date.
