Jesse "Ed" Redding

Jesse Edward Redding Jr., age 85, of Stockbridge, passed away July 5th, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8th, at Bethel United Methodist Church 245 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281 at 1pm, with Rev Candy Thacker officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, GA.

A native of Randolph County, North Carolina, Mr. Redding retired from Delta Airlines in 1992 after 32 years of service as a mechanic. He was a lifetime honorary member of the National Rifle Association and a VFW member. He served in the United State Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jenell Redding, his daughters; Pam Redding and Patricia Redding Reeves, his sons; Steve Redding and Brad Redding, grandchildren; Sherre’ Brown, Jacob and James Reeves, and Jessica Belle Redding, great-grandchildren; Jackson Broome, Jaley Marie Reeves and Ruby Phoenix Reeves and his brother, Harold Redding.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Jesse Edgar Redding and Ola Fidelia Walton Redding and brothers and sisters.
