Joanne was born on February 8, 1953.
Joanne was loved by many and was the sweetest person to ever know. She was a very forgiving and smart woman. She loved the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons.
She was handicapped with Muscular Dystrophy and Diabetes. Now she doesn't wear her leg braces anymore. She can walk around with the Lord. Joanne was a Christian woman and a good singer.
She was preceded in death by one of her daughters, Angie, in 2020. They are now in Heaven together.
Joanne was the absolute love of Hugh's life and will always be in everyone's heart.
She is survived by her husband of over 26 years, Hugh Brooks; children, Michael (Mandy) Martin, Savannah Brooks, Mandy (Morgan) Oviatt, Allison (Mike) Duncan and Robert (Mandy) Brooks; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; a host of other relatives and family friends.
Visitation for Mrs. Brooks will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 3:00PM-6:00PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia, where the Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 10:00AM. Burial will immediately follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
