John Richard Landers, Sr., age 87, of Ellenwood, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016, at Jonesboro First Presbyterian Church at 2 pm, with Pastor David Omerod officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
John was a loving husband, wonderful father, devoted Christian and was always ready for fishing. He is survived by: wife, Inchu Henson, children; Ricky & Kelly Landers, Billy & Wendy Landers, Loris Wood, Lisa & Robert Wiggins, grandchildren; Richie Landers, Ryan Landers, Jackie Landers, Ashleigh & Jeff Matthews, Sean Wood, Natalie Wiggins, Shelby Wiggins, Trisha Wiggins and great-grandchildren, Audrey Matthews and Carson Loper.
