John was born February 25, 1958 in Atlanta Georgia to the late Martha Kite and Horace Privette.
He served as a metal worker during his younger years and became a farmer and animal keeper during his latter years. John made many mistakes, for which he suffered consequences for a time. However, he eventually became a devoted friend.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Privette.
Pops is survived by two sons, Michael Younginer (Holly) and Zack Privette; twelve grandchildren, Megan, Major, Molly, and MaCoy Younginer, Ashley Kriebel, Hunter Privette, Chris Daniel, and Dylan Middleton, Nate, Hannah and Evan Anderson and Alayna Middleton; four great grandchildren, Arabella and Augustus Kriebel, Dash Middleton, and Paisley Anderson; as well as one brother, Robert Privette.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held for John on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
