I very much appreciate the role model John and Sara played in my life growing up in Decatur.  Most of my early years were spent hanging around the Stripling family and taking fishing trips with them to Suwanee.  Sundays were for going to church and being with family at the Stripling house.  John would stay in in suit all day long ...now I believe out of respect for the Sabbath.  Even though this chapter has ended, their memories will continue in the role models they played for generations.
