passed away on April 4, 2025. Joe was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Gene and Rena Cash. He married the love of his life, Shirley, in 1956. She passed away in 2014. Joe is survived by his brother Larry (Connie) Cash, and his sister Martha Jean
"Mot" Bray, his son Joseph "Jodie" Rosser (Diane) Cash, Jr. and daughter Mona Cheryl Cash (Gary) Norton, six grandchildren - Michelle Plymel, Bradley Norton, Rosser Cash, Benjamin Norton, Bear Norton and Leah Cash, eight great grandchildren - Braiden Norton, Lizzy Norton, Lorelei Herring, Janie Lue Norton, Joe Norton, Waylon Norton, Jesse Herring, Reagan Cash, Cash Norton, and Cohen Cash .
Joe was the quarterback on his high school football team. He played men's softball and was on the Stockbridge Midnighters Bowling League in the 1970's. He worked in many positions for Ford until he retired. He then drove a school bus. Joe was an active member and deacon of Stockbridge First Baptist Church for 40+ years. He later moved with family to Pike County and went regularly to East Thomaston Church and later joined First Baptist Church in Zebulon. Joe loved the Lord and frequently told his family that he was ready to go Home.
