February 4, 1943 – June 19, 2025
Joseph “Joe” Arthur LeBlanc, 82, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away on June 19, 2025.
Born on February 4, 1943, in Ogdensburg, New York, Joe grew up along the banks of the St. Lawrence River before making his way south to Georgia in the 1970s. It was there he met and married the love of his life, Ramona LeBlanc, and built a home centered around faith, love, and service.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Joe lived a life marked by quiet strength and unwavering dedication to those he loved. With a heart devoted to service, he found his greatest purpose in caring for his family. Whether it was through a listening ear, a helping hand, or a homemade crocheted blanket, Joe gave of himself without hesitation. He lived not for recognition, but for the joy of giving—especially to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Joe was a man of many talents and passions. He loved photography and reading, and found a special calling in crocheting gifts for children in need at local hospitals. His hands were always busy, and his heart was always full.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ramona LeBlanc; his children Phillip (Amy) LeBlanc, Glenn (Dede) LeBlanc, Mary (Larry) Swick, and Adam (Stefanie) Easterwood; his cherished grandchildren Logan, Nona, Josie, Bradley, Tiela, Sierrah, Larry, Emily, Brianna, Nick, and Garrett; and numerous great-grandchildren who brought him endless joy.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Frederick LeBlanc and Philerum LeBlanc; siblings Rita Coleman, Alice Warren, Rene LeBlanc, and Annette Caskinet; and step-siblings Francis June, Joyce Powers, Jack Frederick, and Margie Love. He is also survived by his sister Shirley Trzaskos and step-sister Barbara Barr.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 5:00 PM, followed by a celebration of Joe’s life on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 10:30 AM. Both services will take place at Horis A. Ward – Fairview Chapel & Fairview Memorial Gardens, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia.
Joe’s legacy of kindness, humility, and selfless love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He lived to serve—and in doing so, he left behind a life well-lived and deeply cherished
