I met Juanita in 1967 when we were both eighth graders at Walker High School.
Kindness flowed from her.
Had lost touch in recent years but followed her on Facebook and prayed when she had health challenges.
My sympathy and prayers are with Juanita’s family.

God Bless you,

Mark Merchant

As Juanita & Charlie’s neighbor, it has been a blessing to know this loving couple! All they have been through together! All the love & kindness they extended to me when my husband passed. I know Charlie has lossed his angel on earth! God bless & keep him. Juanita is looking down on her “Charlie “

Juanita and I were friends and colleagues for many years at the Internal Revenue Service. My memories are of a kind, smart and determined individual who I could thrust and depend on. She taught me many things during our work career but, the most important thing was to always love and thrust God! I will always hold fond memories of Juanita in my heart.

I met Juanita at Rock cut in Conley in 1994. She was always encouraging people and always had a smile on her face. She was a big encouragement to me to go see her even when she could not get out of bed. But she kept pushing and working until she accomplished walking back in church again. She was an example to me to keep trying and never give up. Loved her dearly. Ya have to watch Charlie tho. He will steal a pen from your purse and then try to sell it to you. Charlie was a good husband and forever at her side. Love both these people very much. I am glad the Lord allowed them to cross my path.

Keith and I met Juanita many years ago at Rock Cut Baptist Church in Conley and have been friends ever since. Juanita loved the Lord, her family, and her church family. She was a great prayer warrior. She and I would chat together and she would tell me she was praying every day for me and my family even when she was recovering from her surgery and in pain herself. She always uplifted my spirits and encouraged me to keep going through my on health problems. I will miss all our chats. Juanita was so special to me, she always tried to help people even when she couldn't do for herself. We love you, Juanita and will miss you, but for only a little while. One day soon we will see you again, What A Day That Will Be!! We are praying that the Lord will be with Charlie and the entire family giving them comfort during this time. We love you all.

Juanita was a very special friend with such a generous heart! She was kind, caring and even when she was sick and in physical pain, she would always call me to see how I was and how our entire family was doing. She always said she was praying for me and encouraged me each time we spoke. We shared so much laughter and tears through the years and I will miss her so much! I thank God for putting her in my life! My sincere condolences to Bro. Charlie and the entire family! Heaven’s sounding sweeter all the time!!
