So sorry to hear about the passing of Justin. When we moved to Stockbridge back in 1985 our daughter, Courtney went to school with Justin. She was telling her Dad want a big help Justin was to her showing her around Smith-Barnes Middle School. Your family is in my prayers.

Larry, Paulette and Kim~ I am saddened and shocked by this news.  I remember this sweet, beautiful, blonde curly headed little boy that used to come over and go swimming with Natalie. I still cant grasp the fact that you aren't here anymore.... I just had seen you last week and you had the biggest smile and you gave me the biggest warm hug, all the while we exchanged a few laughs. That's exactly how I will always remember you. You were a great neighbor as well as a friend. Always embracing, a joy to be around and full of life....my prayers go out to your family, especially your parents, you spoke of them all the time and appreciated and loved them so much as a son should....I will greatly miss you Justin, love you babe.

Rest in peace, Justin. I know it's been a while since you've worked with Chops, Inc. in Minneapolis, but you definitely made a huge impression. Even now, 13 years on, we still tell stories about you as well as that crazy winter drumline/colorguard amalgamation of 2002. You were a wonderfully colorful man, percussionist, and teacher. Your talents and your personality will be missed.

I am still in shock from the hearing the news, my thoughts and prayers are with all of his family & friends. He had such an amazing spirit and love for life! You always knew how to make someone laugh and smile no matter how bad their day was. You will be greatly missed. I am so sorry for your families loss!

Crazy Coot!

Justin was an amazing drummer and he loved the "drum line" activity. He volunteered his time to teach Chops, Inc. (Chopstix Percussion) in 2001 and 2002 in Minneapolis, MN. He was a funny guy with his Million dollar Southern Smile and would not stand down for anyone. He was a good guy with a big heart, he will be missed from our Chops family. I will miss my friend...

I can't believe when I heard the news. Justin was an awesome drummer, big heart with a million dollar smile. He loved the drum line activity and volunteered his time to teach Chopstix Percussion/Chops, Inc. in Minneapolis, Minnesota during 2001 and 2002 seasons. He was a funny guy, positive and creative. A good friend of mine....  He will be dearly missed from the Chops, Inc. family.

I am so very sorry to hear about Justin.  We were in the band together at ELHS and he was always the life of the band with his smile, laughter and jokes (which usually got him into a lot of trouble and glares from Mr. Hines!) Such a sweet tender soul.  When my husband passed away suddenly Justin showed up and said 'what do you need?'  He was a great friend.  He loved and respected his parents, and adored his sister and nephews - always had a story about them that he told with a smile.
