He was born December 23, 1939 in Commerce, Georgia to Roy and Ruby Steed. Kenneth is baptized on August 26, 1951 at Beaverdam Baptist Church
In addition to his parents, Roy and Ruby Steed, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Steed and Harold Laverne Steed; and sisters, Jean Cothran, Judy Sloan and Miriam Perry. He is survived by children, Robin Burnette (Jeff) and Rhonda Steed (Steve); his brother, Larry; and his sisters, Ruby and Carol.
He was a loving father, loyal friend, and avid Georgia bulldog fan. Most importantly, he was a follower of Jesus Christ. Kenneth will be forever missed until we meet again.
A visitation of family and friends will be held for Kenneth on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of his life will immediately follow the visitation in Ward's Chapel. Services will conclude with a graveside committal at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
