

Born on October 27, 1948, in Hanoi, Vietnam, Kien was the daughter of the late Tich Kim Ngo and Thoan Thi Nguyen. She dedicated her early career to serving as an elementary school teacher in Hanoi, where she became known as a caring, respected, and devoted educator who left a lasting impact on her students and colleagues.
Kien was a woman of deep love, kindness, and selflessness. She was gentle, considerate, sincere, and generous in every aspect of her life. Nothing brought her greater joy than caring for her family. She was especially known for expressing her love through food, always going above and beyond to prepare meals and ensure those around her were cared for.
A member of Stockbridge Community Church, Kien enjoyed attending church services and especially loved watching her grandson, Chien, play in the worship band. Family was at the center of her life. She lovingly raised her daughter, Van, and later helped raise her grandson, Chien, alongside Van. Her influence, wisdom, and unwavering devotion shaped generations of her family.
Kien is survived by her daughter, Van Maulding and her husband, Bobby; her grandson, Chien Ngo and his wife, Emma; and her great-grandson, Harrison Ngo, who is expected to arrive soon. She is also survived by her brother, Cu Kim Ngo, and her sister, Nghiên Thi Ngo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tich Kim Ngo and Thoan Thi Nguyen, and her younger sister, Yen Thi Ngo.
Kien will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love, generosity, and family devotion will continue through her daughter, grandson, and their growing family.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the prayers, support, and kindness shown during this difficult time as they say goodbye to their beloved "Me" (mother) and "Ba" (grandmother).
A graveside service with be held at Fariview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281 at 02:00 p.m. on June 5, 2026.
