

Lalisa G. Duvall, age 46, beloved wife of Michael A. Duvall, mother of Tamika Annamarie Daniels and Jesse David Duvall, stepmother to Michael A. Duvall, Jr., passed away August 13, 2010, at Henry Medical Center, Stockbridge, Georgia. She was transported to Heaven by a multitude of angels and clothed in pure perfection to be ever present with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is predeceased by her mother, Mary Ann Johnson Gould and survived by her grandmother, Mary Starr, father, Dan Kefas Malambo Gembe, stepfather, Olin Gould, sister Tamari Gembe, four brothers in Tanzania, and cousin, Carl Lucas. “Lisa” graduated from West Virginia University, worked as a Registered Nurse, and served in the West Virginia and Georgia Army National Guard. Lisa provided a loving home to her endearing spouse “Tony,” was a dedicated and caring mother to Tamika and Jesse, and her memory will continue to serve as a sweet reminder and influence over those who had the privilege of knowing her. She touched the hearts of many with her loving disposition and will never be forgotten. She was baptized in the Holy Spirit and a born-again believer as a member of Jodeco Baptist Church, Stockbridge, GA.To all those who knew her she proved to be an instrument of faith and encourager. As an ambassador for Christ her life has shown that the Glory of God is ever present and He reigns. For the things of this world pass away but his mercy endures forever. As you read this, may the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Her family extends their thankfulness for your prayers and in her memory would ask that you seek Him first in all things, proclaim his Glory, and gain assurance in the knowledge of His promise for eternal life guaranteed through faith for those who believe. Funeral service for Lisa will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 12:00 P.M. at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel with Rev. Keith Fleming officating.
