
Lamar was born on December 19, 1980, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Lamar Franklin Cisson, Sr., and Frances B. Cisson. Throughout his life, Lamar was known for his kind heart, generosity, and warm spirit that touched everyone who knew him.
Lamar was a proud member of Local 613 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), beginning his career in the union at the age of 18. He took great pride in his work as an electrician and in the lifelong friendships he built through his trade.
Lamar had a passion for riding motorcycles and loved his truck. He especially cherished spending time with his family and creating lasting memories with those he loved.
Lamar is survived by his wife, Lauren; his stepchildren, Mason and Lily; his sister, Lea Brown; his niece, Emma Rayne Brown; and his father, Lamar Franklin Cisson, Sr. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Frances B. Cisson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home in Stockbridge, Georgia. Family and friends are invited to attend as they honor and celebrate Lamar’s life.
Though he will be deeply missed, Lamar’s love, kindness, and cherished memories will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him
