Leola or "Lea" as she was generally known throughout most of her life, was born on March 15, 1924 to Fred and Bessie Stover in Roswell, Georgia. She married William Alfred Boye (1921-1975) in Atlanta, Georgia in 1948.
Lea became a real estate agent in 1977 and worked at Coldwell Banker and other companies until her retirement in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Patricia Boye Wollitz Piper.
She is survived by three sons, William A. Boye, Jr., Randy Boye, and Gary R. Boye; three grandchildren, Justin Boye, Mandi Lea Wollitz Arnold, and Danielle Marie Lucas; several great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and family friends.
A Walk-Thru Viewing will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia with the Celebration of Life beginning at 12:00Noon. The Interment will immediately follow in Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Drive, Southwest, Atlanta, GA.
