Linda Rogers

Linda Rogers, 76, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025, following a brief illness. A devoted Christian, Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose faith and warmth touched all who knew her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Rayford and Louise Posey.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry, her beloved children Scott, Laura, and Jon, as well as Jerry’s children, Chris (Elizabeth) and Kenny (Kara). Linda cherished her grandchildren: Ryan, Cameron, Dalton, Chris, Jr., Colin, Nicholas, Nathan, Patrick, Gage and one great granddaughter, Delilah and a host of nieces and nephews. Linda’s family was the heart of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Linda is also survived by her siblings, Patsy Chafin, Rayford Posey, Jr., Rick (Karen) Posey, and Denise (Jay) Morgan. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her, and her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Linda and Jerry loved to travel with their camper and their most favorite spot was the North Georgia mountains. Linda also participated in many outings with her church friends, singing at senior living facilities in her area.
