Linda Allene Smith

Being a nana to her grandchildren was one of the things Linda cherished more than anything. She loved all of her animals, especially her little daschund Cujo. She loved her home in the country where her and JL enjoyed feeding and watching the deer. She also loved fishing, gardening and just enjoying the outdoors. In her younger years she was a phenomenal basketball player for Stockbridge High School. She was athletic and enjoyed living life to the fullest.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Mr. J.L. Smith; one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Lynn and Jason Lewis Marucci; one son, Steven Keith Spires; and six grandchildren, Garrett Lewis Marucci, Kaylee Marucci Hunter, Landon Anthony Hunter, Emily Kuhn, Allison Kuhn, and Kirsten Smith Wilson.

A visitation of family and friends will be held for Linda on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of her life will immediately follow the visitation in Ward's Chapel. Services will conclude with a graveside committal at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
