Re Moment of Silence for Kayla Bain and Lindsey Ennis – 12:30 p.m., Thursday, 1/13

As I shared with you within the past few days, the families of Kayla Bain and Lindsey Ennis have made arrangements to lay these young women to rest in their hometowns this week.

Lindsey was remembered by her family as being full of life, with a huge heart and for her passion for photography and writing. Kayla's family remembered her love for skiing, the close bond between her and her sister Krystal as well as great memories of ice fishing and hunting with her father.

Our entire campus community mourns the untimely and senseless deaths of these students and their friend Robbie Wissler. To remember and honor them, we will observe a campus-wide moment of silence at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 13.

Our continued thoughts and prayers remain with the Bain and Ennis families during this very difficult time.

Good afternoon Bonnie,
We shared the details of Lindsey's arrangements with the campus community and I certainly have shared your hope of a scholarship donation in the girls' memory with our advancement director. The photo you shared was beautiful, I can see why Lindsey would have loved it.

You continue to be in our prayers - we pray that you and your family will take comfort in the outpouring of support being expressed.

Warmly.

It was with great sadness that I received the news of Lindsey's tragic death. I can not begin to imagine the depth and range of the many emotions which must be consuming both you and Amanda at this time. I know the feelings of sadness on the death of a parent which you experienced with Fred's passing, but I can not begin to comprehend what death of your child, particularly at this time, must be doing to your psyche. I can only hope that you can take some consolation in the fact that you have a large family that love you and Amanda, and that all are praying for you both. I know you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers, and in Marie's, as well. Hang tuff!
Love,
Dale
