She was born in Atlanta, GA, on March 22, 1948 and was the fourth child of Paul H. and Rosa U. Brown.
Lynda had a brilliant mind and sweet spirit. Attending Brown High School and Georgia State University, and being an avid reader, allowed Lynda to attain a level of education achieved by very few. She was a quiet and loving person who found and married the love of her life, Douglas Edward Babb. They remained very happily married until Doug’s death in 2013.
Lynda worked for the State of Georgia, Department of Community Health; helping those in need of Medicaid services. She retired after serving faithfully for over 25 years.
Lynda is survived by her sister Mary Leonard, of Douglasville, GA; her brother Tom Brown, of Roswell GA; her nephew Bryan Stanton and niece Hayley Stanton, both of Rex, GA.
