

Mable G. Watson, 88 of McDonough, GA passed away on February 24, 2011. She was born and raised in the North GA Mountains. She moved to Athens, GA at 19 and from there made Atlanta and the metro area her home. She was one of four children of Fulton and Naomi Gaddis. She was predeceased by her husband, W.C and brothers Hoke and Howard Gaddis. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Allen and son-in-law, John of McDonough, granddaughter Cheryl Lindsey and her husband Ralph of McDonough, grandson Matt Allen and his wife Brittany of Covington, great grandchildren Andrew and Megan Lindsey and one sister, Frances Faulkner of Winder, GA. She has many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a member of Rainbow Park Baptist Church of Decatur, formerly Kirkwood Baptist for almost 50 years. She was a loving, giving and caring woman who always put her family first. She will be remembered most for her thoughtfulness for others. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel at 11 A.M. Interment will follow at 1:30 P.M. in Holly Hills Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the funeral home from 5-8 P.M. Horis A.
