Madelcia Roper Barrett of Toccoa, GA, passed away at her home on May 29, 2016, at the age of 85. She is survived by her daughter, Betty and Eddie Malone; her grandchildren, Randy Barrett, Lee Campbell, Ann Lumley, James Malone, and Terri Johnson; her great grandchildren, Nichole, Loree, Bradley, Andy, and Samantha; her great great grandchildren, Daniel, Analise, and Kala. Delcia was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "Larry" Barrett; daughter, Linda Ogle; and son, Larry Barrett.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Funeral Home in Stockbridge, GA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 12 pm in the chapel of Horis A. Ward - Fairview Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Fairview Memorial Gardens cemetery.
