Margaret Jenkins, daughter of Alex and May Jenkins from Greenfield, TN died January 24, 2016 in Atlanta, GA at age 86. She was a Registered Nurse with degrees from the Universities of T N and FL and Walden University which included a Doctorate of Nursing Administration. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Theta Tau, and a member of Advanced Administrative Nursing. She served on the Board of the City of Memphis Hospital and helped to open and run the nursing departments of three hospitals in Memphis. Margaret moved to Virginia Beach where she worked at DePaul and VA Hospital in Hampton, VA. Her profession was a helping one, and her efforts were efficiency, courtesy, care of patients and employees. She retired on disability in 1995 and moved to Atlanta to be with family. She was a member of the Church of Christ and volunteered in charitable projects. She is survived by nieces and nephews: Carol Daniel, Jere Cox, Kathy Clark, Debbie Speaks, Alice Matthews, Mike Vaughn and Karen Briscoe. Her final resting place will be Pittman Cemetery in Greenfield, TN.
