Margaret Virginia Oliver

Margaret Virginia Oliver of DeKalb County went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday September 20, 2013 she was 85 years old. Mrs. Oliver was a member of Young Baptist Church formally Eastland Height Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by sisters Jewel, Betty, Sara and brothers Verlin, G. F., Frank, son Richard Allan Oliver and son-in-law Lynn Campbell. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family, friends and her special caregivers at University Nursing and Rehabilitation Home.

She is survived by husband Charles Allan Oliver, Daughters Patricia A. Campbell, Virginia Kay Powers, Terri L. Lusk and son- in-law Duke A. Lusk. Also surviving seven grandchildren Lamar Oliver, Chris Holland, Kevin Campbell, Tiffany Turpin, Krystal Meeks, Wesley Powers, Amanda Hughes and 14 great grandchildren, sister; Brenda Smallwood, and brother; Larry Poore.

Celebration of life services will be held on Tuesday September 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home in Stockbridge with interment to follow at Dawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday September 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
