Margaret Y. Parkerson age 83 of McDonough passed away Tuesday July 17, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted Friday July 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Halstead and Rev. James Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens. She is survived by a daughter; Brenda Knowles and a son; Terry Parkerson. 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; Henning T. Parkerson, son Leonard Parkerson and a sister Jeanette Buchanan-Chambley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday July 19, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Horis A. Ward-Fairview Chapel in charge of arrangements.
