Martha Ann Housley Hill was born in LaFollette, TN on May 8, 1929. She entered the arms of her Savior at home on January 22, 2017.
She attended the University of Tennessee and earned her R.N. from Tennessee Baptist Hospital. She completed her studies at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, where she received her Nurse Anesthetist certificate. She was employed by Grady Hospital in Atlanta as a nurse anesthetist for 40 years. She was a faithful member of Lighthouse Community Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Hettie Housley, a brother, Cecil Housley, and a sister, Mary Etta Boshears, all of LaFollette.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Charles Hill, daughters Lee (Tim) Balliew and Reda (Doug) Adams, and grandchildren Kara and Garrett Balliew and Sarah, Jesse, and Cody Adams. Also surviving are sisters Lona Stoffell, Opal Goins, and Doris Delius, and a brother Bobby Housley, all of Tennessee.
