Marty Wayne Tribble

Marty W. Tribble, age 49 of Atlanta, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012, after a valiant fight with cancer for many months. He is survived by his loving mother, Cora Tribble; sisters, Joyce (Bob) Maine of Good Hope, and Elaine (Pat) Brooks of Pelzer, SC; brother-in-law Paul Brock of Ellenwood; nieces Sherry (Manny) Apanay of Stockbridge and Anna (Nick) James of Albion, NY; nephews Matthew (Jennifer) Brock of Villa Rica, and Brian (Stephanie) Brooks of Easley, SC; five great-nephews and other family and friends. He was a dedicated employee and especially enjoyed his job at the Fox Theatre where he has been employed for the last 12 years. Marty was the loving and devoted caregiver to his mother since her failing health began several years ago. He especially like nature and kept his yards well groomed, planted flowers and installed beautiful rock gardens. Marty was preceded in death by his father, O. T. Tribble, and sister Martha Brock. Services will be held Tuesday, May 22 at 11:00 am at Ward's Fairview Chapel with Rev. Joe Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Decatur. The family will receive friends 10:00-11:00 am before the service at the Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the American Lung Association
